Features:
The bracket is specially suitable for CISON V8 engines. It can be used alone or fixed on the base with the base.
I used the V8 engine cradle to build a “skid” for my engine using 1/2 inch aluminum channel. It incorporates the radiator with engine driven cooling fan, and an alternator driven ignition system. Using the engine driven cooling fan with the radiator necessitated a very compact structure. One consequence was that I had to make a water manifold to feed the twin water pump.
Notes:
The screws holding the fan shroud to the radiator needed to be longer. I found they are not metric screws, but ordinary #8 machine screws.
The oil feed fitting on the block to the oil pump is very close to the engine cradle so it is best to install the feed fitting after the cradle is in place.
The alternator bracket was not stable. To fix this I drilled and tapped a hole through the alternator bracket and the shaft supporting the oil pump/alternator bracket so I could lock the pieces together with a screw.
