Love this kit. Build was a little difficult, but worth it. The blue engine light and smoke coming out of the exhaust is a nice touch. The actual model is a little different than the pictures on this site.

Turbo Fan Model
I received one of the first kits, and it was a challenge. This was my 6th kit and the previous kits went together perfectly. No 1, and most important, when I assembled the modules, the low pressure turbine was too tight and the internals would not move. I disassembled all of the modules and re-checked if I did something wrong, and I didn't find anything. I re-assembled the modules and the turbine would not turn. I had to build shims to relieve the pressure. Re-installed the module and it worked fine. Spent about 7 hours dis-assembling, re-assembling, and designing shims. The shims were only a few thousands thick. I used my calipers to determine the thickness. No 2, threading the wires thru the cover is frustrating. No 3, Finishing the tail assembly is very tedious.
Otherwise, the design and quality is exceptional. I hope the new model doesn't requiring engineering to complete.
