Engine Startup Steps:

2.Fill the fuel tank with gasoline(95#). When the filling is completed, make sure there's no air in the oil pipe.
3.On the right side of the engine(installation of the flying hammer position), slowly turn counterclockwise by hand to buy more than one turn. Its role can make the mixed gasoline fully enter the cylinder.
4.Turn on the power switch and turn the flywheel to start the engine counterclockwise on the right side of the engine(installing the flying hammer position)
Precautions:
1.If the ignition device is normal and the cylinder is under normal compression, if the machine still does not start normally, it's very likely that the carburetor needle should be adjusted.
2.Screw the screw on the top of the carburetor, then loosen 1/4 turn, start the flywheel. This can be done several times to make the mixing ratio gasoline and air reach the normal working mix ratio.

I really enjoy this engine, It arrived very well packed as in videos on it, find many on youtube. checked it over 100% A-OK. put in batteries, I used 3 as required. Using camp -fuel- Non-Coleman brand, A hint of marvel mystery oil in fuel. use my Cox model aircraft fuel can and pump to fill tank, just the right size to fuel it up with the small tank fill opening. Syringe to oil all moving parts and friction spots. No air in fuel line. turned engine over 2 times to prime switch off, then switch on- pulled 2 times with starter rope included and pop pop pop amazing. It will start without pull rope too just flip flywheel. Runs excellent! slight carb needle adjustment here at 8500 feet elevation. needle very touchy! set it and leave it alone. starts great after running 10-15 mins at a time. Water hopper 3/4 full, have run many times now. I do be critical of oiling it well. inside cylinder as well. Amazing little engine, machining is spot on. I am very pleased with my purchase here with Engine DIY , shipping was trackable and very quick. 2 weeks time in transit or close to. I would purchase from DIY again. Thanks for a quality product DIY, Ken
Great little motor! Some minor adjustments are required. As far as the right type of fuel goes it needs to be naphta based being 95 octain is race car fuel here in the U.S. so that being said use Colman multi fuel with a dash of marvel mistory oil. For more info google it.
I used my engine to make a model Rumely Oil Pull tractor. You can see a You Tube video of it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUeDTHd21DU
I have received the engine and I was really impressed with the quality and workmanship. I am a retired Engineer and Machinst, so I know quality when I see it. I look forward to ordering another engine, but I am not sure which one I want yet. I am undecided which type of fuel to use in it. I was wondering about some of the premixed chainsaw fuel, like maybe Stihl premixed fuel. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank You very much for a great little engine.
Really a quality machine. I put weaker springs on the governor to slow it down a bit so that it’s more realistic. Starts easily by hand every time and is a great conversation piece.
