DIYEngine have asked if I could give feed back. Yes of course, here it is.
The engines engineering quality is superb!. I really am impressed, also the radiator is excellent its a proper miniature of a real one.
The kit also comes with header tan, fuel tank an ignition module, spark plugs and a lot of tubing, all of which are of good quality.
There are of course some not so good remarks I must make, No. 1 having the petrol conversion means that the automatic clutch no longer comes with it.
No.2 it was stated in some of the write ups that the L200 was a "splash" feed lubrication, It Is Not, there is no oil in the lower part of the engine {sump} it relies on using a 2 stroke petrol oil mix {2stroke} to lubricate the engine.
No. 3 forget the supplied instructions, it would be a good idea in my opinion to have diagrams, all on one page of the interconnections of all the units. There is one video shown of a similar engine, where people are testing it, they didn't know if oil should be put in the sump, they tried putting oil into the oil out-let pipe. If they can get it wrong most people can get it wrong.
I also took out shipping insurance, its a lot of money to loose in transit. I would recommend shipping insurance, not cheap I agree but cheaper than losing it all.
All in all I would recommend the company and their products to anyone who might be hesitating. I t really is a work of art.
Well to me mine is
